This post is a long time coming so I apologize for that. I’m a very picky person by nature and I insisted on finishing this new site before I blogged again.

So welcome to the new site! I really hope you find it easy to navigate and full of great images.

So all I hear about lately is how social and viral marketing are the wave of the future. I don’t know, but I do know that most of us don’t go a day without checking our facebook accounts. Is social marketing all it’s cracked up to be or is it just hype? Maybe just a phase? I say we test this theory with a little experiment.

How many of you have a personal blog? A website? Don’t raise your hand, it’s not like I can actually see you. If you are a past or current client you already know that every time you send a new client my way you’ve earned a $25 credit. So here is the experiment part. Listen up because if this works it’s going to make some of you very happy!

If you put a link to my site up on your blog or website you will earn a $35 credit for every referral that comes from you. So let me break it down like this:

client must complete session before credit is given to you
6 referrals that come as a result of your link will earn you a free session plus the credit you’ve earned.
12 referrals gives you a free session, 10×10 album plus the credits you’ve earned.
link on your site must be a static link. It can’t be a link in one post.

What is a referral? A referral is when a new client books, completes and orders from their session.

Let’s see if all this hype is real. It’s going to be interesting as so many people have blogs anymore. If you add a link let me know where it’s at and make sure you let all your blogger friends know about this! (or you could not tell them and earn all the session credits for yourself!)

On a different note. I will be launching a brand new site hopefully (fingers crossed) in the next couple of weeks. It’s going to look very different so don’t think you went to the wrong site!

I will be doing the Single Parent Contest again this year. Keep your eyes open for information on that towards the end of February and start thinking of some deserving single mom’s and dad’s.

I have ONE opening left this year and it happens to be this Friday, the 13th. Oh, I hope that isn’t bad luck to have a session on a Friday the 13th….

I just got back from a workshop with amazing newborn photographer Kelly Ryden & Tracey Raver from Omaha, NE. I had so much fun and learned so much! I promise I am going to share the images I got of 3 different newborns, but I do need to play a little catch-up before Thanksgiving vacation sneaks up on me.

In the meantime…I am looking for newborn models! If you or someone you know is pregnant in their last trimester contact me! Newborns must be 5-10 days old at the time of the session. My model parents will be treated to lots of free stuff so pass it on!

This has been a great year. I can’t tell you how blessed I am to be able to photograph people for a living! I have truly enjoyed meeting so many new clients this year and seeing return clients. You guys are the best! The holidays are only weeks away so I want to let you know what is left open on the schedule for this year (which isn’t much). The following dates in November are open so if you need to get in email or call me right away. I will not do any sessions in December, but will be back in January. If you are expecting a new baby call while your still pregnant to get on the schedule!

Here are my available dates: November 6, 7, 12, 13, 16 & 19

The Beast

So yesterday I was trying to get some work done in my office and our dog [Rosco] just started whining. At first I just ignored him because, well frankly I figured he wanted my food that I was eating at the time. After a bit I realized that he probably wanted to go outside [duh Mindy] and play because it was so nice out! I took him out for a bit and snapped just a couple [humiliating] pictures of him. I say humiliating because he was shaved a few days ago at his groomers. Normally my Saint Bernard has a very thick very full coat of brown fur all over that makes him look bigger and scarier, lol! I’m sure if he could talk he’d be very upset with me.

Savanah’s New Smile

A few months back I was asked to photograph the winner of Motherlode’s smile makeover winner, Savanah. It’s been a long time waiting, but today was her big debut! Dr. Ann Hubbs of LifeStyle Dentistry gave Savanah a complete smile makeover that is absolutely AmAzInG! As if that couldn’t get any better she was also treated to a hair and makeup session this morning with Meghan at ‘About You Salon and Spa’ in Springdale.

Savanah, you look GREAT! Enjoy that beautiful smile.
